Kendriya Vidyalaya, No.1, Air Force Station, Sambra, was established in the year 1977, with a view to impart quality education to the students in this region. Established in the defence sector, the Vidyalaya is administered by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India with its headquarters at New Delhi.
